Watch for rotten produce, expired product, and overcharging at the register compared to the sticker price you saw (this is the most common).
I've had to toss lots of newly purchased merchandise straight into the trash after I get home because to me it's not worth the headache of taking it back and dealing with it for a few bucks, or hold up the entire line because they mislabeled their prices. Need to start holding them accountable! Very unprofessional!
It would be nice if they consentrated on stocking food items instead of their liquor sales.
Also, check the freezer items closely. Waaaay too many times have I bought something only to take it home and find its been thawed and refrozen, possibly many times over as it sat in there and it makes it pretty gross.
It's hit and miss, but mostly miss. If you don't pay very close attention, you'll have something worth bringing up nearly every transaction.
I've been to every stop and save in the area. From rickreal, to Brooks, Salem sublimity and sick these are all the same high ratings, great friendly people prices are competitive and the only place I will travel a few minutes further to give my business to this store over anyone else. Great local grocery store with good prices. They have a great craft beer selection and now has liquor.
Owners are terrific and expanding selections. They have also added a liquor section. Expanded deli coming soon.
